If you have done your research over the past weeks you will know that this weekends Metaman event on Bintan will be one tough challenge. Looking at prior years times, the swim seems to be long with those competing in the 2013 event up to 5 minutes slower than they should have been for the given distance. Add to this the hilly bike course (not found in local Singapore events) and we have one heck of a race on our hands.
To help you through the day, we have put together a list of nutrition advice that you can use to make sure that you do not end up head in hands thinking if only.
